Introducing In-text Highlights

SingleDraft introduces contextual highlights to complement your drafting process

Posted by: Jan Kubica

SingleDraft has introduced in-text highlights to enhance your existing drafting workflow. This feature builds upon our commitment to supporting legal professionals with tools that complement their expertise and judgment.

How It Works

The new highlighting system integrates seamlessly with your documents, providing subtle visual cues that help you maintain consistency and accuracy:

  • Defined terms appear with green highlights, with their definitions readily accessible in the margin
  • Inconsistent term usage is indicated with red highlights, accompanied by suggestions for correct formatting
  • Contextual drafting recommendations are shown in purple, offering considered alternatives when relevant

You maintain full control over these highlights—enable all of them, focus on specific types, or work without them entirely, depending on your preferences and current needs.

Looking Forward

This feature represents another step in our ongoing work to support legal professionals with practical tools. We’re developing additional highlighting capabilities and refining the user experience based on real-world usage.

Our commitment to robust Microsoft Word integration remains unchanged. We continue to focus on enhancing your existing workflow rather than replacing it.

We appreciate the thoughtful feedback from our beta testers that helped shape this feature. If you have suggestions for how we can make these highlights more useful in your practice, please share your thoughts with us.
